From the early mornings in Canby, Mark has built things with authenticity and his own two hands. The challenge that became inherent is that he never planned to hand it off to anyone, he just kept working. Mark’s business grew, but his executive team stayed the same size: Mark.

With multiple outposts, Doxtader’s calling card remained the same: a line out the door and by year 3 of operating his Multnomah village restaurant, his catering company and the weekly farmer’s markets, Mark was stretched too thin and neared his breaking point.

Order of operations was called in to help Mark delegate the responsibilities of running a restaurant and a catering company. We jumped right in, restructuring his catering order process without losing business. Next, we took on the restaurant, in his growing absence the inmates were running the asylum. We restructured roles and held accountability meetings (first weekly and then monthly) with upper management. This provided a unique internal scope, where we were able to create cost saving measuring, reducing redundancies between the catering business and restaurant.
